Morocco is a fantastic, interesting and different. We travel by cars and it is a real adventure. We visit all parts of the country. The tour is suitable for all!

El Maghreib (Morocco), where the African sun sets every day is land full of mysteries and treasures. There, between the Atlantic Ocean and the endless dunes of the Sahara , on the foothills of the mighty mountains of the Atlas lies a beautiful and colorful land. The old cities are inspired by the middle ages, the culture is vibrant and full of art and the people carry old traditions accompanied with tasty food and vibrant music. Only the amazing variety of the landscapes can reach the incredible vibrant life of Moroccan cities.

Our goal is to show you all the beautiful faces of the country. From the Atlantic region and its cities, to the Saharan Morocco, The Atlas region, Middle Morocco with the royal cities till the south beaches. We shall see it all by car. It will be unforgettable...

About Morocco:

Morocco or El Maghreib is hte most western african and islamic country. The offical currency is the moroccan Dirham. The capital is Rabat. The official language is arab and french. Other bigger cities are Casablankc, Meknes, Fes, Marakesh and Agadir. Morocco has cca 75 milion inhabitants. PThe population can be devided in 2ethnic groups: arabs and berbers. This affects local culture and traditions. Geographically Morocco is devided in rebivalstvo se večinoma deli na arabski in berberski del, kar vpliva tudi na lokalno kulturo in običaje. Geografskio se Maroko deli na atlantski del, RIF (severno gorovje), Atlas (glavna in najvišja gorska veriga), puščavski del (plato vzhodno do gorovja Atlas), osrednji del (kraljeva mesta) in južni Maroko (južno od Agadirja). Potovanje po tej državi je izvrstno, ker se pogledi in pokrajine nenehno menjajo. Mesta se delijo na novi in stari del (medine). Najlepša so stara mestna jedra, kjer tudi bivamo po programu.Hrana v državi je dobra. Glavne jedi so tajine (jagnjetina in zelenjava v lončeni posodi) in kuskus (zdrob z zelenjavo, piščancem ali mesom). Ob morju se je najpogosteje ribe in morske sadeže. Alkohol je dostopen v večjih trgovinah (kjer se seveda tudi ustavimo.

Program of the tour:

We will visit the royal and holy cities of Moulay Idris, Volubilis and Meknes first. We will breathe the fresh air of the RIF mountains, visit the picturesque city of Chefchauen, loose ourselves in the medieval old medina of Fes. After Fes we will travel to the Saharan region, deep into the desert near the border with Algeria. There in the Erg Chebbi we will admire the best dunes ever, ride the camels, sleep under the milion stars. After the desert we will explore the Atlas region and the Dra and Dades valleys until we will climb over the high pass of Tiz'n'Ticka to reach Marakech, the hearth of the south. We shall experience and see it all. After the red city we will explore the hidden treasure of Ouzoud, we will trek to the high Atlas (April and August) and drive to the lunar land of the Almeln valley. For last we save the best so we will visit the beaches of the south and the cities on the Atlantic (Essauira, Oualidia) before returning to Casablanca and then to the airport.

In August and April we climb the High Atlas, to the top of Mt Toubkal. It is a 2 days non-technical trek. In October and December we do not due to the cold and snow on the top. (the itinerary may vary depending on the month)

This itinerary is made for the traveler, who likes to explore the world in its real colors!

Price:

All together 1030 EUR for 18 days (departing airport Italy). For all the organization, guiding costs, a lot of work and a little sleep we charge 250 EUR. Members of Char Travel Club get 40 EUR off. Ticket to Morocco costs 150€. For the other costs (payable on arrival to destination) you need 600 EUR. It includes the accommodation (nice travel hotels), the car rental an costs, the drink, the food and the trips. Shopping not included (it is Morocco!)

Infos:

Visas are not required. Vaccinations are not needed.
Group is big from 12-20. If there is less than 12 travellers the price can be a bit higher.
Guides are Gregor, Domen, Tomaz or Petra. Dream team!

When to go?

Morocco is best in April. Good times are also autumn, New Year and summer when the oOcean breing a nice breeze. Our departures are in April, October, December and July!
